Range Suggestions

Riding Gear

Bring all riding gear: DOT-approved helmet, over-the-ankle boots/hi-top tennis shoes, gloves (full-fingered/no holes), eye protection (if not wearing a full-face helmet with face shield), long pants and long-sleeves (no holes). You will not be able to ride without proper riding gear! (Helmets, eye protection and gloves will be provided if you don't have them).

Face Shield/Eye Protection

If you have a full-face or ¾ helmet with a shield, be sure to have a clear face shield.  This is so the RiderCoach can see your eyes.

Helmet

If you have a half helmet, it is okay to use but is not recommended or endorsed by MSF.

Inclement Weather (Rain)

We will ride in the rain unless there is thunder and/or lightening!  It is suggested to bring a rainsuit and a dry change of clothes/shoes.

Sun & Heat

The sun on the range can be brutal even on a cloudy day.  Sunscreen, a wide-brimmed hat, and light-colored long-sleeve T-shirts or any other long-sleeve shirt made of breathable material can definitely improve comfort.

Snacks

A Gatorade or Poweraide type drink and some Granola/Candy bars for a snack are recommended to help restore energy.  Water will be provided at break-times.  However, if it is hot, Gatorade will make your time more comfortable.
